The Marketing Officer is responsible for supporting the marketing of company products and services to the business community, automotive and architectural industry customers such as car manufacturers, and the consumer market. The Marketing Officer not only works for SEKISUI S-LEC B.V., but also for SEKISUI High Performance Plastics companies.

SEKISUI S-LEC B.V. in Roermond is part of SEKISUI S-LEC EUROPE B.V., which in turn is part of SEKISUI CHEMICAL Co. Ltd, the Japanese chemical company.
SEKISUI S-LEC is the producer of PVB interlayer film and produces in six locations around the world.
The PVB interlayer film has applications in so-called laminated glass in the automotive and architectural industries. SEKISUI S-LEC uses two production locations to supply its own required raw materials, namely the PVB resin.
In addition to the production location in Minakuchi, Japan, the location in Geleen has been actively producing PVB resin since early 2007.
The production location in Roermond started in 1996 and consists of a sales department, administrative department, technical department, and a production department division.
Approximately 145 employees are active within Roermond, 50% of whom are direct staff.
Your tasks
- Support the Marketing Representative in conducting customer research, analyzing market conditions, trends and the situation of competitors.
- Support the Marketing Representative in analyzing the interlayer market, to understand the current market, identify new market opportunities and identify market requirements for current and future products and identify market changes.
- Supporting the Marketing Representative in monitoring market developments and recognizing important developments and their influence on the organization.
- Sharing market information, technology requirements and needs with the Marketing Assistant Manager.
- Support the Marketing Representative in creating online and offline promotional materials and expanding and improving promotional tools and attraction data of S-LEC products
